Soleckyj Boguta Viva Maria

I was born and brought up in a family with cynologic traditions.
Our Airedale Terrier kennel “Prima” was founded by my Grandmother Maria Szczepańska (the FCI judge) in 1947 and now, is the oldest dog kennel that is still active in Poland. Later, my mother Joanna Szczepańska-Korpetta, also the FCI judge, became the co-owner and now, the formal co- owners are also my younger sister Agata and I.
Airedale Terriers have been accompanying my family for 75 years and have been accompanying me for 49 years, being our love and the passion of our life. I personally handle our Airedales Terriers, my American Akita, my Shar Pei and our Jacks Russell Terrier.
Since 1990 I have been an active member of the Polish Kennel Club.
It is a very important part of my life and I spend much of my time working there non-profit. For 33 years I have held a function of the Chairman of the Court of Arbitration in the Warsaw branch of the Polish Kennel Club. I was also the Vice Chairman and a General Secretary of the Main Audit Committee and a member of the Breeding Council. In addition, I was a member of the Junior Handling Commission and the vice Chief of the Terrier Club.
I have been awarded with the Gold Award of the Polish Kennel Club.
For as long as I remember, I have always wanted to follow the path of my Grandmother, Mother and their judge friends. I had much luck to study and learn from the great authorities, both judges and breeders. I keep judging dogs for 21 years.
I had a great honor to participate as a judge at International, National and Monographic shows in many countries (in Australia, Brazil, Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Ukraine and Poland).
In 2013, I was awarded with a state ceremony, that is awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland, for actions focused on cynology and promotion of a pedigree dog and FCI breeds’ goals.
Cynology is my life’s passion. I am grandmother too. I am professionally active. Now, I am a financial director at publishing house.
