Introduction Judge Dr. med. vet. Horatiu Mihai Sina

I had my first purebreed dog as I was 6 years old and it was a german sheperd, called Ralf. Later on, when I was 11 years old, I started utility training in my home town and went to several dog shows,  to promote our Utility Club. My love for dogs and chickens made me want to study the veterinarian medicine and this is how later on, I became a vet. As a student, I got my first Romanian Carpathian Sheperd dog, Bora and this is how I started my Dog Show life. Started soon also breeding, under the name Cogaion Kennel and produced several national, european and world champions.

In 2015, in Milan, I was the proud winner of the first  World Champion titles in the history of the Romanian Carpathin Sheperd, with Dragos de Cogaion and Deva de Cogaion, brothers from the Cogaion’s litter “D”. In 2015 I got in love with the Papillons and started my new journey along with this breed.

While attending the dog shows, I found fascinating the ability of judging the dogs and this led me into the process of becoming a judge - at first,  for the four romanian breeds. Several years later, after doing my apprenticeship, I got to be able to judge the entire group l. Later on, in 2019, I passed the exams for several breeds of group IX.
