Byrnes James

James Byrnes is an experienced FCI All-Round Judge and is also authorised to judge Best in Show. His breed specialisation is the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, a breed to which he has been dedicated for many years.

He has judged Staffordshire Bull Terriers at many prestigious international events, including the World Dog Show 2012 in Austria, the European Dog Show 2014, and the World Dog Show 2015 in Milan. He was also invited to judge at the Finnish Winner Show in December 2013, the Nordic Winner Shows in November 2014, and MyDog Gothenburg in 2017.

Throughout his judging career, he has officiated at shows in numerous countries, including Ireland, England, Australia, Austria, Finland, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Estonia, Romania, Sweden, the USA, Italy, the Netherlands, France, South Africa, New Zealand, and Germany.In addition to his judging work, James Byrnes has also been actively involved in breed club activities. He has previously served as Chairman and Secretary of The Cork Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society, as well as a long-standing Committee Member of the society
